ARCA is a full-service design/build/maintenance group. We’ve been doing our work for over 40 years and we love what we do. We provide consultations, ongoing maintenance services and complete design-build landscape remodels for gardens of all sizes and types: residential—houses, estates, live-work and apartment complexes; and commercial—municipal and industrial buildings and restaurants. In every job, we emphasize repurposing and recycling as part of our overall commitment to green and sustainable practices.
Design
How will you use the space? What is your dream for what it might be? What are the particular challenges and opportunities of the topography and microclimates?
From the answers to these questions, the layers of a landscape plan start to unfold. Material options are considered based on functionality and the minute details of how different hardscaping and plants will physically connect to each other, how colors will interact, how the landscape as a whole will relate to the surrounding architecture and terrain. From information gathered during your initial consultation, we produce a customized plan to meet your needs, the requirements of your site and budget and fulfill your vision.
Build
As a design-build firm, our designers are closely involved in all aspects of construction. If onsite challenges arise, the design and build teams collaborate to find solutions that ensure the vision and intent of the original plan are fulfilled.
Construction and installation services include: irrigation systems, decks, patios, pools, walkways, arbors, pergolas, gates, fences, water features and other distinctive hardscape. We design and custom-fabricate in metal, concrete, wood, and stone.
Maintenance
Thriving gardens depend on plant health and environmental balance. Our on-site sustainable practices help promote a smaller carbon footprint through composting, sheet mulching and repurposing plant and hardscape materials.
We perform specific tasks such as aesthetic pruning, seasonal planting, weeding, mulching, and irrigation adjustments as well as simple renovation of existing gardens. We can also prepare outdoor spaces for special events.
